We offer two free drinks for the players who have registered for the tournament.
Most of our people will be in costumes, so we encourage all guests to wear some kind of costume for the fun of it.
The Artwork Quiz will be great fun: We open a booster, and describe or act out the artwork on one of the cards (we may also give some game-term hints about the card). Whoever is the quickest to name the card correctly receives the booster, and gets to pick the card that will be described from the next booster. The party-master has invited some knights to show their fighting skills to our noble guests.
We can eat, drink, listen to the music and party till midnight.

The fee to enter all of our tournaments (except the Legacy of Blood storyline) during the weekend is € 15. (This registration fee also holds two free drinks at the welcome party.)

European Championship Last Minute Qualifier
However this tournament is also open to all players who wish to compete in a regular constructed format. Three preliminary rounds with a 2-hour time limit, and a final round with a 3-hour time limit.

Legacy of Blood Pre-release Tournament:
This will be the first official pre-release tournament for the new expansion. It is a limited format tournament. The players will receive one random starter deck and 5 random boosters from the Legacy of Blood expansion. The entry fee for this tournament is not included in the two-day championship entry fee. Players who wish to attend must pay an extra € 28. Three preliminary rounds with a 2-hour time limit and a final round with a 3-hour time limit.

There will be a longer lunch-break after the first round. There are 2 fast-food and a few regular restaurants within a 300 meters distance.

The VtES European Championship in 2005. - The Grand Event
This constructed format tournament will determine who will be the European VtES Champion for 2005. All previously qualified players can enter this tournament. Three preliminary rounds with a 2-hour time limit and a final round with a 3-hour time limit.

Silence of Death Tournament
This tournament format has been successfully introduced last year in Heidelberg. The deck construction and gameplay rules are the same as for the regular constructed tournaments, but there is one difference: No tabletalk! Just the announcements that are necessary for the game.

Local Storyline Tournament
This tournament will have a special storyline event (unofficial and not closely related to the VtES storyline), strongly connected to our region and city.

Budapest Storyline Rules:
1st round:
Each player may search his/her deck for a non-minion card (Master, Gehenna etc.). Players should put this card face-down on the table, the players shuffle their decks afterwards. Each player reveals this chosen card at the beginning of his/her first round. Requirements should NOT be met, but playing cost must be paid.

2nd round:
Each player may choose 4 vampires from his/her crypt before shuffling it. Players should put these 4 vampires in their inactive regions. Players do not move vampires to their uncontrolled regions at the beginning of the game, they may start this game the 4 vampires previously chosen.

3rd round:
Each player may choose 7 cards from his/her library before shuffling it. Players should use these 7 cards as their starting hand. Players do not draw cards at the beginning of the game, they may start this game the 7 library cards previously chosen.

Final round:
All rules of the first, second and third rounds are used.
